Departments may have a student worker that is in a Federal Work Study position or as a student aid and are interested in moving them to a temporary/casual position so they in theory can work more hours.
However, students actively enrolled in classes can not work more than 29.5 hours per week. Students that participate in a co-op for their degree path may work 40 hours, only if it is for their co-op position as this is considered part of their curriculum.
